This is our first tip of the week. It is probably one of our most important tips that we will cover.

If you are looking to start a team or are looking for new members to join your club, the key is to get the parents you have already involved to talk about your program to their friends.

I have run a club for 5 years and only last year did I push the parents to go and get wrestlers for the team. I had 8 wrestlers coming back and I received 37 new wrestlers. We had one of the largest registrations in probably 15 years.

I have passed out fliers at baseball, soccer, football, junior highs, elementary schools and none of them combined produced the benefits of asking the parents to go out and recruit future wrestlers.

It is like in business, a happy customer is your greatest advertising. Good Luck !!!
